DECA Service Learning Spotlight
This year, our DECA chapter is excited to focus on meaningful service projects that give back to our community in big ways. Our program of service includes:
Star of Hope – Supporting Houston’s homeless community through a donation drive that lasts from September till November- collecting blankets, towels, and items from the Amazon Wishlist.
PPOC – Project Protect our Children focusing on Ending Human Trafficking through Education and Awareness through a fun 5K run at KHS.
Greenbelt Guardians – Keeping Kingwood beautiful through community cleanups with Greenbelt Guardians on October 18 for the official Texas DECA Service Day.
Ball for All – Volunteering as buddies and together as a chapter with a local organization that puts together a special needs prom locally.
Operation Christmas Child – Spreading joy worldwide with holiday boxes. Each of these initiatives represents DECA’s commitment to leadership, service, and impact!
